Warrick County Clerk's Office

The Clerk of Warrick County is located in Suite 200 of the Judicial Center in Boonville. The clerk’s office accepts and routes all legal filings, maintains hearing and ruling records, responds to records requests, and accepts fees for court services and fines. Warrick County Superior Court No. 1

Located on the north side of the historic courthouse in Boonville, Superior Court No. 1 hears misdemeanor criminal and DUI/OWI cases, adjudicates small claims, rules in probate disputes, and oversees parole. This court also administers court-supervised drug treatment and jail diversion programs — alternatives to standard criminal prosecution that may be available to eligible defendants. Warrick County Superior Court No. 2

The entrance for Superior Court No. 2 is located on the eastern side of the courthouse building, facing 3rd Street in central Boonville. It shares jurisdiction with Superior Court No. 1 over misdemeanor matters, OWI cases, small claims, probate, and parole. The phone number for the Superior Court No. 2 clerk is (812) 897-6213.

Warrick County Circuit Court

Two elected judges sit on the Warrick County Circuit Court, which operates in the same wing of the Boonville courthouse as Superior Court No. 2. The Circuit Court hears all criminal and family law matters involving juveniles and employs two Guardians ad Litem — court officers responsible for ensuring that the interests of children are represented and protected throughout proceedings. Gibson County Superior Court

The Gibson County Superior Court handles misdemeanor and traffic cases. It also administers part of the county’s probation program, the drug court, and alcohol and drug treatment alternatives to criminal prosecution — options that may be available to eligible defendants as an alternative to standard criminal penalties. Gibson County Circuit Court

The Gibson County Circuit Court has primary jurisdiction over felony criminal cases and cases involving children. This makes the Circuit Court the primary venue for divorce cases that involve questions of child custody, child support, and parental or grandparent visitation.
